Our Boat

Our Boat is a custom designed 12-person day boat with the features of a pontoon boat and the style of a cruiser.

She has a single 150hp outboard motor which allows her to cruise economically at 6-8kts however she can also get up on the plane and dash to 18kts in favorable conditions.

She is AMSA approved for recreational and light commercial use across Moreton Bay including all of the creeks, rivers and canals that flow into it.

Her features include:

• An open helm with 360degree visibility
• Full walk-around decks
• Plenty of storage in and around the vessel (including a large flat foredeck)
• Table and seating for eight passengers
• Seating for an additional four passengers at the transom
• A rugged galley bench with a small sink and cold water
• Beach access via a step-through bow gate
• Water access via a duckboard and ladder
• Bluetooth audio and USB chargers

Boat hire packages on the Brisbane River start at just $650 per day and include full use of Our Boat and all of her equipment on the Brisbane River from sunrise to sunset.

The cost of fuel is an additional charge and this will be calculated separately at the end of the hire period.

For an additional fee, Our Boat can be delivered to any other location from Caloundra to the Gold Coast to help you explore your favourite waterways.

Boat charter packages start at $1,100 per full day and include full use of Our Boat and all of her equipment from sunrise to sunset. A qualified skipper will help you and your crew enjoy a stress-free day out on the water.

For most low risk activities, the nominated skipper does not need to have a boat licence to operate Our Boat.

The nominated skipper just needs to be in good health, be more than 18 years of age and be able to demonstrate their competence and confidence on the water.

Before departure, the nominated skipper will be provided with instructions on how to operate Our Boat and these instructions will be tailored to suit the skipper’s level of experience.

Alternatively, a fully qualified skipper can be provided to help everyone have a good time.
